E-Z Instructions - Helpful Hints
APPLICATION
1. Apply to small area with fine steel wool, use gentle pressure.
2.
Let dry for 1 to 3 minutes.
3. Buff to high luster with soft, clean cloth.

OAK
Use medium steel wool. Do not rub in circles - stay with the grain.
Work small area (about 10 by 20 inches). Rub gently until desired
finish is achieved. Let dry 1 to 3 minutes, buff with clean, soft
cloth.
Light Brown or Golden Oak Recommended |
PINE
For un-stripped pine, use 0000 steel wool. Stay with the grain. Be
generous with Briwax for deep penetration. Wipe off excess
immediately. Let dry 4 to 8 minutes, buff with clean, soft cloth. For
stripped pine, apply Briwax warmed to the consistency of soft butter. Use fine steel wool or paint
brush in detail areas. Wipe off excess, let dry 2 to 3 minutesor
longer, buff with clean, soft
cloth. Two applications may be necessary for maximum results. The
second application apply with a soft cloth, ling sweeping motion and
use a very thin coat.
Clear Recommended |
MAHOGANY
Use #000 Steel wool with a small amount of Briwax. Stay with the
grain, working small areas until desired result is achieved. Wipe off
immediately and buff hard with clean, soft cloth.
Antique Mahogany
Recommended |
BRASS, METAL
No need to remove handles, hinges, or brads. Use #0000 steel wool to
obtain a rustic look. Rub
gently until color is restored. Wipe off immediately and buff.

WATER MARKS
Use fine steel wool. Work half of the spot, staying with the grain.
When the spot starts to disappear, stop and buff immediately with
clean, soft cloth to high luster. Proceed with the rest of the spot. 2
to 4 applications may be required.

Benefit 3 - BRIWAX can be used over and over again
without having any wax build-up. Used over other surfaces like varnish,
polyurethane with a fine grade 0000 steel wool it removes the roughness,
oil and grease buildup, other wax, polishes, and leaves it as smooth as glass.
